About the book:
A COLLECTION OF OUTDOOR STORIES is an
anthology of the author’s favorite stories from his
early writings. A lifetime of experiences both
afield and stream spawned some of the tales,
moved by a love for animals and nature.
New York State’s, “The Conservationist” first
published Of Vanishing Birds, Dogs and
Neckties, the story that began it all by revealing
how the enchanting outdoor world captivated the
author’s heart and soul. While the short story
contest winner, Cry Wolf, Cry, became the
catalyst for a full-length novel.
All ten tales, whether vivid recollections, or
fictional trysts, were written to share the bounties
the magnificent outdoors hold for those who
